Birthstone Earrings
These Birthstone earrings are made in Scotland from old fashioned pewter with a plated finish of Palladium (which won't scratch or tarnish).
Inspiration for the design is taken from many traditional Scottish elements such as Endless Celtic Interlacings (the overs and unders representing the ups and downs of life, and it's unbroken continuity the symbol of the hope of eternal life), Luckenbooths (sold from 'locked booths' in Edinburgh these were often given on betrothal and became family heirlooms) and of course the Thistle (adopted over 700 years ago as the emblem of Scotland).
The earrings are attractively packaged with general historical notes.
