Sgian Dubhs
About Our Sgian Dubhs
A Unique gift from Scotland
Our range of Scottish Sgian Dubhs (or skian dhu, Skeen doo or scian dubh as they may also be known) come in a choice of finish; we have pewter sgian dubhs and some beautifully crafted wooden and horn handled sgian dubhs.
Worn traditionally with the kilt - they make for great talking points and gifts which can be posted worldwide.
Where is the Sgian Dubh Worn?
Sgian dubh traditional Scottish knives are worn tucked into the sock (known as the kilt hose) on the right leg. Half of the handle should be showing above the sock. The sgian dubh, along with your choice of Sporran and Kilt pin, is a great way to personalise your highland outfit and also adds a historic touch to your traditional kilt outfit.
