Accommodates up to 50 guests.
A very first wedding venue in Gretna Green, the blacksmiths workshop is presented to you as it was in the 1700s, when blacksmith priests married runaways over the original anvil.

With its rustic flagstone floor and whitewashed walls, this atmospheric room at Gretna Hall exudes historic charm. Today, a magnificent 19th-century carriage, positioned behind the iconic Gretna Green anvil, provides a stunning backdrop for photography.

The Courtyard
Accommodates up to 60 guests, with 20 standing.
The Courtyard Room at Gretna Hall is a contemporary venue set on one side of the stable block’s historic courtyard. Candlelit for an extra romantic atmosphere, you may walk down the aisle to the famous anvil with your guests seated on either side.

The Cottage
Accommodates up to 8 guests.
The Cottage at Gretna Hall is an ideal venue for smaller parties. Couples marry over the anvil, in front of a beautiful fireplace and floral arrangement, while after the ceremony you may enter your own private garden where photographs can be taken.
