Situated opposite the Famous Blacksmiths Shop, our boutique but unpretentious hotel, with its attractive bar, restaurant and rooms, invites guests to kick back and watch the world (and the odd wedding) go by.
The hotel offers two distinctive wedding venues: Smiths Penthouse Balcony and Smiths Marriage Room.
Overlooking the Famous Blacksmiths Shop and the surrounding rolling countryside, Smiths Penthouse Balcony provides a small but stunning wedding venue for up to 6 guests. Smiths Marriage Room, on the other hand, is a versatile venue which can accommodate 20 to 150 wedding guests.

Wedding Menu Packages and Upgrades
Our Bronze Wedding Menu & Drinks Package is automatically included in all wedding packages, except for the Elopement for 2, Gretna Green for 2, and Perfect Day, Overnight Stay packages.

Kids can select from the children’s menu but because we know it’s best to have options for youngsters, they can also pick half of an adult’s portion from main menu dishes. Our wedding team will be delighted to discuss your menu preferences in more detail with you.
Evening Buffets at Smiths
Our Buffet 1 option is automatically included as part of the Bronze menu package. For just £2 more per guest, you can upgrade to our Buffet 2 option instead.
Drinks Packages
We have a selection of popular wedding drinks combinations for you to choose from. However, if you wish something different, we’ll be only too happy to help you put together your own choices. If you’d like to upgrade from the standard Drinks package, the following items may be added to your reception.
