Returns

Here at Gretna Green Ltd we believe we offer outstanding customer service therefore we will accept any item/s returned to us for a refund within 30 days of receipt. The item/s must be unworn and with all original labels still attached. Please return your order to us using our office address at the bottom of the page.


Exchanges
------------------------------

If you would like to exchange any item then please send the original item back to us and (stock permitting) we will arrange your choice of alternative to be sent to you. Please note a re-delivery charge will apply.


Cancellations
------------------------------

Under the Distance Selling Regulation you have the following rights when buying online or by phone from Gretna Green Ltd.

  • You have the right to cancel any order (contract) made with Gretna Green provided you do so no longer than 14 days after the day on which you received your goods.
  • Your right to cancel/return goods for cancellation does not apply to made to measure, personalised or perishable items.
  • To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address. You can let us know of your intention to cancel by emailing us on info@gretnagreen.com
  • If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation and we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply. This includes the cost of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than our standard and least expensive method of delivery)
  • We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of excessive handling by you. We will make the refund no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied

Damaged Items

In the unlikely event of your order arriving damaged please notify us immediately. All orders must be checked for damage within 24 hours of delivery so we can claim from our courier.


Faulty Items
------------------------------

We realise we don't live in a perfect world and we do experience faulty items from time-to-time. If you do buy something from Gretna Green Ltd which is delivered with, or develops a fault over time, please contact us immediately so we can work to resolve it for you. Please note conditions apply.


International Orders
-----------------------------

If you are returning an order which was sent internationally please ensure you clearly mark the parcel as being a returned order and that duty has been paid. If you fail to do this then there is a chance your return will be held

Please note although we offer a great returns policy there are some items which we cannot accept for return (unless faulty).

Made-to-measure products

How should I send my return?

We strongly recommend obtaining a proof of postage certificate from your local post office or alternatively, sending your return by recorded post. We cannot accept responsiblity for returns goods which are lost or damaged in transit, when this occurs you must claim for the damage from the company you used to return the order to us.

Please note unless your item is faulty or sent incorrectly, you will not be re-imbursed for the cost of return postage.
